Swallow is from Jacksonville Florida. Her Bachelor's Degree was earned from University of Virginia, where she did her research in Middle Eastern Studies. Latter Swallow moved to New York City after which she earned her master's in acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Her roles in film and on television include a character in Ringer and a spouse of a police officer on Southland. A bounty hunter also starred in the CBS pilot The Odds. To top it all off, she performed as a mermaid for Flight of the Conchords and played in the independent film The Rift directed by Shana Sosin.
